Sharon’s Heating and Air Conditioning is expanding its business by opening a new location in Fowlerville. At 11021 W Grand River, the new location will help to better serve the Fowlerville and Howell communities, and the surrounding areas.
“It’s a natural transition for us to branch into that area,” said Laura Elias, the Human Resources and Marketing Manager for Sharon’s Heating and Air Conditioning. “We plan to grow the business in that area, and our employees are already contributing to the communities on a personal level.”
Sharon’s Heating and Air Conditioning has its primary location in Westland and has been serving metro-Detroit and the surrounding areas for over 35 years. Elias said the new location in Fowlerville will help increase their customer base.
“We’re looking to go as far west as Lansing,” she said. “We intend to work the corridor all the way from Lansing to the Westland area. We are already doing a lot of work in those areas, but this will allow us to focus further west. People will see our vehicles, and through word of mouth we can better serve the area.”
Owner and CEO, Sharon Klicker, has worked in the HVAC industry for over 40 years, initially installing systems for other companies. After becoming one of the first women in Michigan to license in heating and cooling, Sharon started her own company. Specializing in residential and commercial cooling and heating, her goal is to provide a quality product at a reasonable price.
In addition to heating and air replacement, Sharon’s also handles new construction homes, additions, and provides a full line of heating and cooling services to the residential and commercial markets. These services include boiler installation and repair, preventative maintenance, city certifications, emergency service, and specialty ductwork.
Elias said that Sharon’s helped over 2,600 customers in 2019, and looks to improve and increase its service, even during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We have reached out to some senior organizations and provided free services to those affected by the shutdown,” Elias said.
Besides a dedication to customers, Sharon’s also commits to the community through the support of many children’s sports teams, local charities, programs, and events. This commitment to quality and community has put Sharon’s on DTE and Consumers Energy’s Trade Allies lists.
